Ok... got an email notice that the forum backup was gone.. and we need to restart. sooo.. here be a new thread to restart.

I now have 3 Cubs.... Granny my 1947, Ellie my 1948 and Jethro a 1950 or so.. gonna be a rebuild from a number of donors. Just got our taters planted today. Seems that even though by our standards we are late, others are on their 2nd and 3rd replantings due to the really odd weather we have been having. Rest of the garden goes in tomorrow and over the next few day. Thankfully we still have almost 120 days of growing season left. Not enough for good sweet corn, but everything else should be fine.
