[SIZE=7]I have a Farmall H and want to put a live hydraulic pump in front of the Mag. Can anyone tell me if a pump that fits an M will also fit an H? I'm new to the Farmall restoration and want to make my H functional as well useful on my farm. Thank you. Floyd

Floyd:

I basically know absolutely nothing about H's huh.gif rolleyes.gif But, as I am into Cubs, I have uploaded all kinds of manuals to the Cub Manual Server AND, there just happens to be the TC-27D Parts Catalog for the H on the server as well.

This might be able to give you some help in your quest for answers and ideas. Hope this helps somewhat..

As I get time and of course access to more manuals, they will also be uploaded as soon as possible and will probably include many of the letter series tractors.

Also, check out the other links on the main page - you would be surprised how many Cub owners also own H's, M's, A's, B's etc.....

i am not an expert on this, but i believe you can buy a live power kit for the H or M, it basically takes the mag/dist and makes it a vertical mount while the pump is horizontal where the mag/dist used to be. different housings, internal parts for the conversion. its not cheap, also must have hyd. lift unit with tractor for the reservoir or mount a tank somewhere. also don't think they are interchangeable between h and m, different engines, although the mag/dist maybe.
