We recently suffered from a hard drive failure and the back up of the forum was bad so we searched for a good back up and the only one we found was from 2006. We lost 3 years of members and posts but we are going to continue to rebuild the forum. We now have a new back up solution in place so by all means signup.

OK, I'll open the board... I'd like to find a disk plow for my A. I've seen vintage advertisements for the tractor on E-bay and it's pulling a '2 Bottom Disk Plow'. I've never seen one of these before. If anyone knows where I could find one of these I might be interested. I had an A for the better part of my childhood wink.gif , I just reciently bought one in GREAT shape. Now I want to get some 'toys' for it! I live in Michigan, but will travel with in reason...

Thanx!

Now is that the type of plow that sits under the tractor itself? I'm somewhat new to this tractor thing, I just bought my first one a little while ago and talk about fun! It is a 1939 A and I do believe that the plow you are talking about was on the tractor. I'm with you I'm trying to find some toys with it. I just bought a 3 point back blade for it, as we know I don't have a 3 point hitch, time to fabricate.

Disc plows are kind of regional. In my area moldboard plows were the norm and disc plows were rare. I think they are more prevalent in areas where rocks and roots cause problems. I have seen them center mount, rear mount and pull type.
