We recently suffered from a hard drive failure and the back up of the forum was bad so we searched for a good back up and the only one we found was from 2006. We lost 3 years of members and posts but we are going to continue to rebuild the forum. We now have a new back up solution in place so by all means signup.

Hi folks,

I'm new to the red tractors. I have quite a bit of experience with the Green/yellow ones but it's getting real crazy and I'm looking to expand my interest. I have an opportunity to purchase a McCormick Deering Farmall 100, S/N 18618 J. Tin is fairly straight and mostly complete. Hasn't run in 5 years but kept covered, not stuck. Ran fine when parked. Tires NEW when parked. Located in North Carolina. I'm open to any suggestions or hints. The year it was manufactured and a range of values would be especially helpful.

Thanks in advance for any help!

It should be a 1956. The price would be hard to say. Values vary widely across the country. A good runner should be worth $1000 & up depending on whether it has implements with it etc.
