We recently suffered from a hard drive failure and the back up of the forum was bad so we searched for a good back up and the only one we found was from 2006. We lost 3 years of members and posts but we are going to continue to rebuild the forum. We now have a new back up solution in place so by all means signup.

I have a 1947 Farmall A that I use to mow around my pasture. When I added oil to the transmission, I noticed some dripping underneath near the front. I felt there and found a hold that appears to be part of the case casting. As it had no threads, I'm wondering if there should be a freeze plug or something there. Nothing is said about one in my repair manual or the owner's manual and I haven't been able to find anything on the Internet so far.

Any help would certainly be appreciated.
