Super Mta Hydraulics/Ta

I just purchased a Super mta. They had a farmhand loader on it and had they hydraulics ran from the factory pump straight to the resivor and spools on the load. I took the loader off and ran the 2 lines out of the main pump to the fittings on the tractor below the gas tank on the right hand side. It is the cast iron tank. I filled it back up with fluid, and engaged thed rod, and when I did, you could head the motor load up. My question is, Where do I plum in the line/lines that would go to the back for a remote cyclinder? Can I have power up and down just using the control that is already on the cast box, or is it single. I would only be using it to raise a cylinder on my 8foot disk. I want it origional. My 2nd issue is the T/A. It slows the tractor down when you pull it back, like a low side gear, but after going a few feet, the tractor lows down and would probably eventually stop and it sounds like the clutch maybe slipping. Can I adjust it, or should I just leave it alone and leave it in the forward position. I have always heard that you dont use it except to slow down when turning around or if you hit a hard spot in the field and need more power. Please help. I dont want to mess it up. I cant remember the serial number, but do remember that is 26 lower than the last production number listed for 1954. Casting dates range from august to October. I also noticed a signature casted into the back side of the front pedestal. It is in cursive. I couldnt read what it said, but it not scribed in, it sticks out, so it had to be in the casting. It is on the back side of the lower pedestal on a narrow front tractor. Lots of questions?????
