Mta Battery Box Removal

I am new to this site, and recently got an MTA. I stArted to remove the battery box and am having trouble getting the front of the box released. I removed the three cap screws at the rear. I am suspicious that there is a false bottom that is hiding the capscrews at the front of the box. How is the best way to get the false bottom out without destroying it.
