I have an International Farmall "A" with a TSX 157 carb. Last used a few months ago and needed to change the head gasket. On start up the engine would only start and run at 90% choked. I have rebuit this carb a few times with great success. I disassembled the carb, blew through all the jets, checked the float for proper float level and reassembled. On start up the engine ran the same. I tried adjusting the idle mixture and this did not help. Any suggestions, help.

Sorry guts, no one replied however I found and corrected this problem. In case this happens to anyone else this was the problem. When reassembling the TSX carb (Dont do what I did) make sure you orient the venturi in the proper position. This venturi can be installed upside down and it fits perfectly. Make sure you orient the venturi with the large bore up (to top of carb). I founf the information printed in the Blue Ribbon service training course manual. Put it back together and it runs GREAT, Needs no choke to run. Crazy carb is crazy no more.
