Mystery

I cranked up "Mighty Miles" my 1949 Farmall Cub last Friday which started and ran perfectly for about 2 minutes and then shut down and didn't start again. I've checked the fuel flow to the carbeurator and for wet plugs indicating normal operation. I checked the fire at 3 of the plugs and those 3 are sparkling but not a peep has belched from the engine. I even resorted to ether sprayed directly into the carbeurator throat with no results. I think I need an exorcist. Does anybody qualify? Thanks..........Don
