I just inherited a awesome Model A from a long time family friend at no cost to me!!! The problem with it is there's no carburetor on it and the owner is now deceased and have no way of asking him about it. My question to anyone is can someone help assist me on figuring out what carburetor went on the tractor at the time of production, when I search for one on the WWW. it comes up with all different kinds and replacements for that model tractor. The serial number for the machine is 60952 and if I'm leaving anything out please feel free to ask me any questions. I can't wait to get this machine up and running, it's been a long time since I've been on an antique and my ole butt is itching just waiting to get back in the seat. Thank you

Hey there, I'm new here, and I hope it's not too late to reply to your post, but I thought I would add my two cents. If I remember the serial number ranges right, your A should be a 1941 model. I have a 1941 A as well. I believe several different carburetor makes and models will fit, but here's what mine has: Zenith 9752 52499DB. I believe the first number is the Zenith number, and the second is the IHC number, but you can use either to match a carb.
