Radiator Cap

I have a 1955 cub. The radiator cap says 7 psi. If I fill the radiator full it will overflow while running the engine. Was going to buy a new one at Steiner. They mention one cap for a pressurized system. Not sure which one I need. Measured the depth of neck it is 1". Any help would be appreciated. The cap on now has nothing below the seal gasket. No plunger or spring. Thanks.
