I have an M Farmall with serial no FBK 173162 x1 which I believe to be a 1948. This M has a TA or what I believe to be a TA. It has a lever down by the clutch. It is a shorter lever than the MTA model. Can anyone out there explain this? Is this a rare M?

the serial number doesn't show any factory add ons, looks to be an add on hand clutch,or maybe a torque, like kevinj said we need more pics from the side to see where it goes
